I'm trying to figure out the George Bachman born about 1800, either in New York or Pennsylvania, depending on which census you read (1860 or 1870). He and his wife, Sarah, and family were living in Freemansburg, Northampton County, PA. My husband is descended from his son William H. Bachman. I'm trying to figure out if this George is the son or grandson of the Revolutionary War soldier, George Bachman. Can anyone help me with this?
