Thank you for this information. I have Elizabeth as the daughter of Jacob Nunamaker Sr. and Maryann Bachman and Jacob Sr, as the son of Benedictus and Barbara Hook Nunamaker. Benedictus immigrated in 1766 from Amsterdam to South Carolina and settled on a large plat of land on the Broad River, which was located between the Broad River and I-26 and included the land from where I-20 now lies to St. Andrews Road. Somewhere in my papers I have the ship information, I will try to locate it. My husband's family is descended from Elizabeth's brother Jacob Jr. and Charlotte Younginer, to Arthur Sebastian and Mary Hiller Nunamaker, to Ernest Jacob and Mattie Owens Young Nunamaker, to Martha Nunamaker and William Eleazer, to us. I have more information on the family if you are interested. There is an old grave yard on the old Nunamaker property but it has unfortunately been vandalized over the years. You can find a listing of Nunamakers whose tombstones were there 20 years ago in June Seay's Silent Cities in the SC Archives and some Lexington County Public Library branches.
