Hi,
I am just starting to look into my family roots...My Mom was a Barbara Bachman, and I have recently just been told that they were Swiss. My Aunt told me that she had gotten ahold of a book that traced them to there. (I need to see that book!)This is new to me, since my mom always said Poppop was German Dutch. Anyway, Her Dad was Harry Judson Bachman, born in 1901, and his father was Harry D. Bachman. They lived in Williamsport.
