Jacob Bachmann was born in 1676 in Hirschland, Alsace France, baptized on May 14, 1676, recorded in the Diedendorf Church record. He married Elizabeth Carl on January 15, 1704 at Diedendorf. They had a son Jacob who was born 25 July 1704. The son Jacob (1704) emigrated to the US and arrived in Philadelphia on 14 September 1753 aboard the Ship Edinburg. I have this whole line back to Switzerland.
