I was excited to read your reply. My first husband Edward Lambert (1947-1995) was related to John Burnham Bachman. He was his second great grandfather. Ed's parents were Leon F.Lambert & Rosaltha F. Winchell. Rosaltha's parents were: Auburn D. Winchell & Muriel O. Clark. Muriel's parents were: Aaron B. Clark Jr. & Rubie Jane Bachman. Her parents were: John Bachman & Mary Mittower. Do you know anything about Mary Mittower? For the longest time I had the spelling wrong. I have Mary Mittower b. January 7, 1838 and d. June 13, 1913, where she died I don't know.
Ella Catherine Bachman (sister of Ida) b. Feb. 27, 1858, m. Alfred Christian Smyth December 25, 1883 and d. September 27, 1936.
Rubie Jane Bachman b. June 6, 1863 in Waterloo, NY.: m. Aaron B. Clark Jr. May 11, 1881 North Sharon, Washtenaw Co., MI. and d. November 23, 1939.
John B. Bachman's parents were: Charles C. Bachman and Catherine Emmerick. Charles C. was born Dec. 1809 in Fayette, Seneca Co., NY. He d. Dec. 1888 in Chelsea, Washtenaw Co., MI.
Catherine Emmerick was born March 19, 1815 in Fayette, Seneca Co., NY. She d. January 3, 1899 in Chelsea, MI. I think her parents were: John Emmerick and Elizabeth Hoover.
Charles C. Bachman & Catherine Emmerick had 3 children: John, James A. b. December 29, 1837, and George W. b. 1835.
