Looking for other researchers in my particular Bachman line.
John Bachman b. Lehigh County about 1790(?), married before 1812 to Elizabeth Swineford. Lost a milling business in Lehigh County and moved to Snyder County PA around 1830.
According to a later narrative, John's father was also John who moved to Ohio.
John (the younger) had two sons and 3 daughters. One son Samuel is my g-g-g- grandfather, b. 1-1-1820 in Lehigh Co, died 4-26-1910 in Snyder County. Married Christina Fike, 6-18-1840.
John's eldest son John Phares Bachman, is my g-g-grandfather. Two of Phares' brothers went west also, one to Ohio, one to Michigan.
This is just a sketch to see if someone else is working on this family. I need to find out about the elder John and his origins.
