Hi Brigette,
My George Adolph was born in 1812, so I would guess that his mother was born 20-30 years earlier. Was your Barbara born in Northampton Co? That's where I believe he was born? I've found there are lots of Bachmans there. George and his family eventually wound up in Berks Co, PA. He is buried at Hill Church. His wife was Maria Fenstermacher - another name that's hard to track because there are so many of them. Maybe we do connect sometime in the past. Keep in touch if you find anything new.
