Replying to your information-I have the following paragraph about the Bachman arrival
Some of the early ancestors came to this country with William Penn, one of them was his Secretary. After William Penn purchased Pennsylvania, he presented to hsi secretary, Mr. Bachman, Upper and Lower Saucon Townships, and from this place and this person sprang this family. The ancestor of the Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, family was Jacob Bachman. He is buried in Lowhill Church. That he was one of the organizers of Lowhill reformed Church on January 27, 1769. Also a great book was written by: Jay Schuler: "Had I teh Wings the Friendship of Bachman & Audubon". I also have an original Audubon print of the Bachman Warbler. If you have any more information that would be great--thank you
Stacey
