I’m looking for relatives on my fathers side, but we don’t know much about the family
My name is Bernd Wilhelm Bachmann, and my fathers name is Karl Philipp Bachmann, he is born 11’th of May 1931 and died in june 1988.
His parents is Anna and Wilhelm Bachmann, they have two other children called Georg and Christian (Christel) and they should have lived in Mainz – Kostheim near Frankfurt am Main
My grandfather Wilhelm died in a German workcamp during 2’nd World War and my grandmother moved 5 times in the same period

I’ve been told that Bachmann is a jewish name, so maybe there can be a connection there, but I don’t know
If you can find anything, the smallest clue, please contact me
