Hi Lawrence, I am also working on the Bachman line as well. I have just started though. I have a letter that lists a few things from my Aunt Helen about George Bachman. Here it goes and it is all that I have. George Bachman was born 1750 at Carlie, Cumberland Co, PA. He came to Fayette, NY in 1806 and died April 4, 1820. His wife was Polly Siegerfuss. He served in the Revolutionay War as Brigaider General Wagon Master. His duties were to oversee the removing from the field, the wounded and the dead and to care for them.
Genealogy listed:
George Bachman- Revolutionary War Soldier
His son John, his daughter Eliza Bachman Ritter, Her daughter Katherine Ritter Ambrose, Her daughter Ida Belle Ambrose Howard (My Great Grandmother)

George Bachman's second son Solomon, his daughter Anna Bachman Spaid, Her son James W. Spaid, his daughter Alberta Spaid Reeder. George is burried in the Burg Cemetery in Fayette. I just can't seem to find the missing parts. You said George had 7 children- I have 2. can you help me out with this line. I've ordered a birth certificate of George Bachman from PA- will be mailed out Monday. I would appreciate any help you could offer. Thank you Nancy
