I would enjoy hearing from any descendants of the Rev. John (1790-1874) and Mrs. Harriet Bachman of Charleston, SC. He was pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Charleston and after death of his wife Harriet, he married her sister Maria. Harriet bore 14 children, five died in infancy. My gr-gr-gr grandmother was Maria Bachman, one of his daughters who married John Woodhouse Audubon (her sister Mary Eliza married Victor Gifford Audubon). Both sisters died in early 20's from TB. Are you descended from any of the other surviving children of John and Harriet Bachman?
