I have a William Bachelder Hopkins 1865IA - 1935KY. His father was William Henry Hopkins b1835 Springville, Erie Co., NY - 1911 Odebolt, Sac Co., Iowa. I'm looking for the parents of William Henry Hopkins. His mother was from Germany and family lore says his father descended from RI Gov. Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785, signer of the Declaration of Independence.

William Henry Hopkins married Kate Moore 1845NY-1924IA on Dec. 28th, 1864 in Andrew, Jackson Co., Iowa after his return from the Civil War.
