Your ancestors have some similarities with mine: My great-grandmother's name was Felipa Abelina Baca (although on my grandfather's baptismal certificate she is named Abelina Baca). She and her siblings were born in the Belén/Los Jarales area (close to Tomé). One of her sisters was named Celsa Baca who married Felix García on 9 December 1887 in Watrous, NM. Their mother's name was Juana García Baca, wife of José Tomás Baca. Other siblings of Felipa Abelina and Celsa were: Simona, b. 10 Feb 1858 María Nicanora, b. 13 Jan 1861 Felix, b. 23 May, 1863 Gregoria, b. @1852 Miguel María Nicanora Baca married Eugenio Chávez and is the grandmother of New Mexico's famous friar and historian, Fray Angélico Chávez. These Bacas are documented in the Appendix of "Origins of New Mexico Families." I don't know if my great-grandmother Abelina ever married (she was single when she bore my grandfather). Hope this helps.
