I am searching for information on my maternal grandfather, Raymond Charles Brown and his mother, Fannie Frances Babineaux Brown.
My grandfather's death certificate lists the following:
date of birth - 3/28/1905 in New Iberia, LA
date of death - 7/23/1979 in Lake Charles, LA
mother - Fannie Frances Babino (Babineaux/Babineau)
father - Walter Brown
I found Fannie and family in the 1920 and 1930 Lake Charles, LA census records listing Fannie as 'head', mulatto, and a widow, with sons Raymond, John, and Clement Brown, but have not been able to find any further information - nor death records for Fannie or husband Walter.
