My great-grandfather, Georg Phillipp Baber (Barber), b. Nov 6, 1862, emigrated to Canada from Galacia (Austria) in 1892 aboard the ship "Hamburg". He and his wife Christina (Lang(e)), b. Jun 30, 1863, raised their family in North Dakota and in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Georg died on March 10,1904 in St Boniface, Manitoba. Some time after Georg's death, Christina moved to Lipton, Saskatchewan to live with her son, John and his wife Millie. Christina died in 1944.
If you have any information you can share about Georg and Christina and their ancestors and descendants, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
