Baber and Palmer marriage in 1942

Can anyone help with this?

I am trying to find living descendents of my great grandmother's brothers. One brother was Edward Arthur Palmer born 1886 at Brighton, Sussex.

One of his daughters was Rosemary A. Palmer born 1918.

This is a long shot, but a fellow researcher in England found a marriage for a Rosemary A. Palmer in 1942 to a John P. P. Baber. It is the index only so no parents' names, etc. to confirm who this Rosemary's father was.

My researcher also found names of two Baber individuals in birth indexes who had Palmer mothers- again, a longshot that "my" Rosemary was their mother.

I have absolutely no idea what part of England Edward and his family may have lived in, in fact, have no idea if they did live in England. He was apparently in the British Army and was returning with his three children and wife to England from India in November 1925, just found them on a passenger list this past week.

Edward Palmer had one other brother and one sister, my great grandmother.

Any information greatly appreciated- would like to confirm one way or the other who that Rosemary A. Palmer was who married John P. P. Baber.

Thanks from Nora
