According to his will, John's wife is Elizabeth.

Soloman and Lucy BABER CARTER, and their two daughters, Susan, age 5, and Lucy, age 2, were the neighbors of Mary Jane BABER & Kennedy GORDON in the 1850 Owsley Co, KY census.
Mary Jane BABER GORDON m. Joseph Brandenburgh @1865 after the death of Kennedy GORDON.
Was Lucy BABER the daughter of Fountain or John, b. @1770-1780?
Was Fountain the son or the brother of John BABER, b @ 1770-1780?
