I am amazed at how many Babers there are in North America. i always thought that it wasn't a very common name. My grandfather, the late John J. Baber was born on the family homestead near Neudorf, Saskatchewan Canada in 1898. I believe that his father immigrated from Austria to Canada. My grandfather had a brother that lived in the U.S. They both lived in Chicago for a short time in the 1920's. I am sure that some of his brother's family are still in the U.S. I would be interested to hear if any of the U.S. Baber's
are related to me
