Tom; I have two marriages recorded for BABER/SPRADLING as follows:-

William Burton, Bondsman

Same marriage - different date, not sure which is correct.

17 December 1782 - ROBERT BABER to NANCY SPRADLING daughter of DAVID ?

Marriages ORANGE COUNTY, VIRGINIA
---------------------------------------------
22 June 1850 - MARY ANN BABER dau of MARIAH MAUPIN who gives her consent, married WILLIAM SPRADLING
Bondsman: Richard H.Maupin who also affirms William is over 21 yrs.
Witness: Ira Garrett
Mariah Maupin, Richard H.Maupin & William Lobban all signed in the witness portion of the consent document.
