Hi,
My name is Clifford Babbitt. My father's name was R.B. Babbitt (deceased). Romie was his father. Romie's name was Romie Bethel, and he supposedly hated the name, hence his only son R.B. (initials only). My father grew up in Coleman. He talked about his grandfather, but I remembered him saying that his name was Charlie Babbitt whereas you list it as Chester. Romie died in a truck wreck in 1941 or early 42. Romie also had a daughter Mary.
