Don't know if there is a connection but, my husband comes from a Baade family of New York. There was a Theodore Baade from Germany came to USA sometime during the 1800's, dates unknown but Theodore had sons named William, Charles, Richard and Walter and 2 daughters Martha and Ruth all lived in New York some in city of and some in upper.
I know nothing about the when and the who came to USA but understand Theodore had at least one brother living in Upper New York. Can you make a connection with your family.
If anyone has information please let me know.
