Deceased Name: Gladyce S. Bitney
SHELL LAKE, Wis. - Gladyce Sherrell Bitney, 92, of Shell Lake, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at Indianhead Medical Center in Shell Lake.
She was born April 21, 1914, in Chicog Township, Wis., the daughter of John and Annie Haugen Bos. She married Kenneth Sherrell in 1939; he preceded her in death. She married "Budd" Bitney in 1992 in Shell Lake.
Survivors: husband, Budd; son, John (wife, Judy) Sherrell of Owatonna, Minn.; two daughters, Diana "Dee" Sherrell of Spooner, Wis., and Sandra Crane of Lincoln, Calif.; seven stepchildren; six grandchildren; 28 stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sept. 30, 2006, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Minong, Wis. Interment: Greenwood Cemetery, Minong.
