John Asbill, Jr., son of John Asbill and Elizabeth Coyle, was born about 1795. He married Mahalia Grace on June 13, 1823 in Estill County, Kentucky. They had the following children and grandchildren:
1. William Asbill married Nancy Asbill, daughter of Joseph Asbill and Milinda Becknell. Nancy died before 1864. They had three girls and two boys.
2. John Asbill married Mary Ann Bensfield.
Their children:
a. William Burnett Asbell, born 1858, married Allameda.
Their children:
(1) Rev. John Myer, Asbell, born 1879. Their children:
(a) John Myer, Jr. born 1917.
(b) Maeda Elizabeth Asbell, born 1915.
(2) Louis Asbell, born 1882.
(3) Mary Etta Asbell married Henry Holt Smith. Their children:
(a) Mary Susanna Smith
(b) John Henry Smith

c. Alice Asbell
d. Albert Asbell
e. Katie Asbell married Mr. Clifton
