I'm researching MORAGA ancestry around the 1880s-1890s that originated in Hermosillo and Cananea, Sonora, MX and wound up in Arizona. I know my grandmother Julia's parents' names were Fernando MORAGA & Maria SESTIAGA. Fernando was a judge "juez" in Mexico. Julia was born in La Colorada (near Hermosillo) around 1900. Julia Moraga's siblings were: Francisco, Dionicio-("Nicho"), Maria, & Jose-("Pepe"). The family eventually moved north to Cananea. Some came through Nogales and Santa Cruz County into Arizona, going as far as Phoenix. The FHC doesn't have a record of this family, so my only hope is to find another descendant who might know more than I do.
