Who shot Matilda in Nogales in 1899?

My great grandmother died in Nogales in Santa Cruz County in 1899. She was 33 years old and her name was Matilda Treahy (Mamie). The family story is that she ran away with a musician and was shot in a dance hall. If you can help me by letting me know of any places I can check to find out exactly what happened to her (such as cemeteries or newspapers--including those on the Mexican side of Nogales) I would really appreciate it.
