Tucson Daily Citizen, 1/13/1967'
Mrs. Claire Handy, of Chicopee Falls, MA, died about 5:30 pm at St. Mary's Hospital from injuries suffered in a two-car crash Jan 6th about 19 miles northwest of Tucson on the Casa Grande Highway.
Mrs. Handy's husband, William, 68, driver of the bus-camper in which the visiting couple was residing, remains in satisfactory condition at St. Mary's Hospital.
Highway patrolmen said the Handys' bus-camper was struck from the rear by an auto operated by Roscoe Lewis, 39, of Libertyville, IL. Lewis was not injured.
The impact hurled the Handys' vehicle out of control and it overturned several times, according to the highway patrolmen.
