I found the following obituary and funeral notices for David G. Locke in The Arizona Republican. While there is no mention of his wife and children's names, it does place him in Prescott. I know it’s not exactly what you’re looking for, but I hope it helps. Good luck with your search! The Arizona Republican Wednesday Morning December 9, 1903 DEATH OF DAVID G. LOCKE – David G. Locke died yesterday about noon at his residence, No. 529 south First avenue, after about a week’s severe illness, though he has been ailing for a long time. His chronic trouble was rheumatism, but he was also troubled with heart disease; which was the direct cause of his death. Mr. Locke was about forty years old and leaves a wife and a number of children to mourn his untimely death. He was a fine appearing man and his death was a shock to his many friends, for only his intimates knew he enjoyed other than the best of health. He came here from Prescott some years ago and for a long time was in charge of the section men along this end of the S. F. P. & S. F. V. line. A few months ago, he left the employ of that company to accept the position of roadmaster with the M. P. & S. R. V. railroad and was still performing the duties of that office when taken with his fatal illness. He was universally respected by all who knew him and was well liked by his employers, being faithful to his duties whatever they chanced to be. He was a member of the Masonic lodge of Prescott having lived in that city before coming here. As of yet, no funeral arrangements have been announced. The Arizona Republican Thursday Morning December 10, 1903 FUNERAL OF D. G. LOCKE – The funeral of D. G. Locke will be held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at Bradley’s undertaking parlors, under the auspices of the Masonic lodge. On the same page: The members of the Arizona Lodge No. 2 F. and A. M. are requested to assemble at the lodge room at 2 o’clock p. m. today, Dec. 10th, 1903, for the purpose of attending the funeral of brother David G. Locke; late a member of Aztlan Lodge No. 1 at Prescott, Arizona. Royal arch companions and sojourning brethren are fraterally invited to attend. FRANK THOMAS, Master F. A. SHAW, Secretary Notify Administrator about this message?
