Walter Hammond Williams & Henry Verde Haught lineage

Greetings...

My great-grandfather was Walter "Pops" Hammond Williams, siad to have been born around 1887 either in Oklahoma or Arkansas.

His daughter, my great-grandmother, was Ada Dow Williams. She was b. 9/26/1905 in DeQueen, Arkansas 7 d. 9/26/1988 in Cortez, Colorado and buried in Dove Creek, Colorado.

I have been unable to confirm anything about her parents. It is said that there is American Indian blood that enters my family tree through Walter H. Williams, supposedly his mother was a full-blooded indian & the daughter of a chief??

He had 1 sister that I know of; her name was Savannah McCaully (spelling of last name unsure of) she was born in Tom, Oklahoma as best as I have been able to tell??

As best as I can tell her family traveled west eventually settling in Payson, Arizona. This is where she met my great-grandather Henry Verde Haught. I am also trying to find out more info about him as well. He was born to a John Haught & Mary Smith?? As best as I can tell John Haught's parents were Peter & Suzanne Haught. They all settled in the Mogollon Rim Country near Payson, Arizona having traveled there from the Dallas, TX. area??

Henry Verde Haught was b. 5/14/1894 in Dallas, TX. married 7/10/1923 d. 1/13/1976 in Dove Creek, Colorado. They had 4 children, 1) Jack haught 2) Pearl (Haught) Mower 3) Opal Jewel (Haught)Bussard~Barney 4) Ruby (Haught) Warren

Opal Jewel Bussard was married to my grandfather Martin Bussard. She is the mother of my father & 5 other children, 2 of which came from a later marrage with Donald Grant Barney.

Any help adding clarity to this line in my family tree would be much appriacted, especially about the Williams & Haught members in my family lineage.

Thanks in advance for all your help!!

Kindest Regards,

Zane Bussard
