prescott az-group home during the depression
My father and his brothers were born in Hazard, KY. Their father and mother died, and they were sent to Arizona, and we think to Prescott. My father's name was Thomas Jackson Caldwell, his brothers were Paul JOnes Caldwell, and Robert E. Lee Caldwell. Thomas was sent to a boy's school, Father Flanagans, then enlisted into the army with his brother Paul. They served togethr in Panama and the Philipines.
My father came back and worked some ranches, broke horses i the Grand Canyon, was on the rodeo circuit rode wild cows and broncs. Sang beautifully, as well as his brothers, they were to form a trio, were involved in an accident, moved on. My Uncle Paul married Lena and taught high school in Yuma and retired from there. Robert played tennis, settled in Phoenix, worked for the telephone co. (ma bell) retired and recently died.
