Inez Garcia Oury (1828-1891)

I'm looking for the parents/ancestors of Inez Garcia, my ggg-grandmother, who married William Sanders Oury (the first mayor of Tucson, Arizona) in 1849. Inez lived from abt. 1828 to January 28, 1891.

Here's a quote a book, "William Sanders Oury: Historymaker of the Southwest:"

"Inez Garcia's ancestry was Spanish -- both parents had been born in Barcelona and had come to Mexico in 1827. After living a short time in Mexico City, Senor Garcia established a ranch in Poanas, [in the state of Durango] a few miles north of Zacatecas. His place was bordered on the north by the municipos of Penon Blanco and Cuencame, and at some distance on the south by Nombre de Dios, and Suchil. Inez Garcia was born on the ranch in 1828."

Does anyone have any additional specific info on the Garcia ancestors? (The ranch area seems to be huge to me -- and thus likely that Senor Garcia was a wealthy man)

Thanks!

Anita
