Hi Marcus,
There is a Garrison+Brownell=ME family tree on Ancestry which includes this family. I forgot to write down the URL but you'll find it if you search for Fred Whitt.

Fred was born abt. 1883 in Russell Co., Virginia and d. 1966 in Fresno Co., CA. In 1906 he married Maggie Rose and in 1910 he married Icy Ann Flemming Bryant and they had six children. Source: see above.

In 1920 the family was living in Dickenson Co., VA.
Isa Whitt, head household, b. VA, 32, truck farmer.
Fred, husband, b. VA, 41, coal miner.
Alford, b. VA, 8.
Woodrow, b. VA, 5.
Moseil M., dau, b. VA, 3.
Nell L., b. VA 11/12ths.
Mattie Flemming, dau.
Fred Flemming, son
Gladus Flemming, dau
There were many Flemming neighbors.

In 1930 the family was living in Maricopa Co. except for the Flemming children.
