Arizona Republic, 3 Jul 1980, page E-3: "Services for Jess B. Jarrell, 70, who was a carpenter 25 years for Pepper Construction Co., will be 2 p.m. today in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback. Mr. Jarrell, 5643 N 29th Ave., died June 30, 1980, in Phoenix Baptist Hospital. He came here 69 years ago from Sandy Hook, Ky, and was a member of Carpenters Local 1089. Surviving are his wife, Katherine; children, Patsy Allen and Edward; six grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers."

Arizona Republic, 14 Jul 1983, page E-2: "Amos A. Jarrell, 70, of Waddell, a retired farmer, died July 12, 1983, at Boswell Memorial Hospital, in Sun City. Mr. Jarrell was born in Phoenix. Survivors include his wife, Marian; daughter, Dianne Anderson; sons, Arnold and Dan; two sisters and two brothers; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave."

Arizona Republic, 12 Feb 1984, page D-13: "Margaret S. Miller, 87, of Glendale, died Feb. 10, 1984 at Phoenix Baptist Hospital & Medical Center. Mrs. Miller was born in Elliott County, Ky., and had lived in Arizona for 73 years. Survivors include her daughters, Helen Rice and Ann Antonsz; sons, John and Luther; a sister; two brothers, 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northen."

Arizona Republic, 2 Oct 1984, page D-2: "Frank J. Jarrell, a retired farmer, died Sept. 30, 1984, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mr. Jarrell, of 406 N. 40th Ave., was born in Elliott County, Ky., and was brought to Arizona 69 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Beulah; sons, Ronald and Robert; a sister and brother; and three grandchildren. Services were Monday at Memory Lawn Memorial Park. Memory Lawn Mortuary made arrangements."
