Hello Laurie,

I am very anxious to discuss our common research on David and Ann (Forrest) Crawford's family. I think you will remember sending me the scan of Hannah (Evans) Crawford's photo. I have made no progress in discovering what became of her and husband, John Crawford. Curiously, I think I find him listed with his parents in the 1870 Census of Champagne County, Illinois, yet Hannah is listed in her father's 1876 probate record as a survivor. I think you mentioned that they went to Butte, Montana. I can't find them there in 1870, 1880 or 1900. even the slightest clue might be helpful. For instance, what became of John Crawford's siblings?

Peter Murphy
