Hi Jennifer - I was at the Double Butte Cemetery last summer to take photo's of family graves. While there, I obtained the cemeteries website address which is http://wwww.tempe.gov/pkrec/cem/cemlist.asp.

At that site I found today John C. GAMBLE buried 9-10-1948, age 43, section 3, block 11, lot 3, space 8 with a marker.

I also found Ord A. Gamble buried 10-11-1958, age 80, section 3, block 11, lot 3, space 5 with a marker. Perhaps this is the father of Ordway Allison GAMBLE Jr. you mentioned was buried in the Mesa City cemetery.

As you already mentioned Mary M. GAMBLE is buried there. She was interred on 2-11-1976, age 94, section 3, block 11, lot 3, space 6 with a marker.

While there are ELKINS buried in the Double Butte Cemetery, there is no Mary Olive GAMBLE ELKINS shown as registered and interred.

Hope this helps in your research.
