Wish I'd known you were going to Willcox. My paternal grandparents, Horace E & May Dunlap,deceased Jan.1937 and Aug.1914, are buried somewhere in Willcox. Horace bought the San Simon Valley news in 1896 and changed the name to The Arizona Range News. After building up a "fair patronage",he sold it in 1900. He had contracted TB and went to Arizona in '82 after the SP had built track east from Calif. Lived to be 81. The Dunlap ranch, run by his brother Burt, was located about 60 miles NNW from Willcox on the Aravaipa. Had a beef contract with the Army to supply posts in the area.
