The County Seat of Cochise County is Bisbee, Arizona. It was moved there from Tombstone. I don't have the exact date, but it was sometime in the early 1900s. Most, if not all, of the records were transfered to Bisbee. Marriage records are available back to 1881, and are kept in the Bisbee Court House, in the Clerk's office. Other records, such as land records, are kept by the County Recorder. I don't know the extent of the record collection, but I have been in the recorder's office several times and there are a lot of old record books and microfilm there.

Hope this helps

Tommy Stoner
