John O. Dunbar and Thomas Dunbar

I am looking for info. on John O. Dunbar and his brother Thomas Dunbar. They lived in Tombstone in the 1880s and later lived in Phoenix. John O. Dunbar was a partner with Johnny Behan the sheriff of Tombstone in a corral called Dexter's at the time of the OK Corral shootout. He supposedly was the editor of a newspaper in town. We always thought it was the Epitaph but I've found no proof of that and believe it was another paper.
I have read that his brother Thomas was considered the father of Cochise Co. I would like to know why that is so if it is and exactly what he did while he lived in Tombstone and Cochise Co.
These men are related to my g. uncle Bill Dunbar and I am trying to figure out what the exact relationship was. I have heard John was his father or grandfather. I am also trying to find out what John's wife's name was. There is a marriage record for him to a N.W. Brunner in 1883 and later I have heard his wife's name was Emma. Are Emma and N.W. one and the same person? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
