Just a quick check of the registered voters of 1898 and 1900 does not include him. The operating funeral home in Willcox does not carry that name today. His wife is not listed at the old cemetery, but that is no real suprise since the last burial there was 1910. I have your list of questions and will start to pursue it and keep you posted at your email address.
There is a book with bios on all the early ranchers here. I will check that out, at least, today.
