I don't know about surviving relatives of Joe Olney but I have this obit from the AZ Gazette, 12/09/1884.
Joe Hill, one of the most widely known cattlemen in southern Az met with an accident on Wednesday last which cost him his life. He was engaged in driving cattle into a corral at Bowie station, and while riding at full gallop his horse stumbled and fell throwing Mr. Hill with great force to the ground. The unfortunate man received internal injuries which resulted fatally within an hour.
Also, I was in Winkleman, AZ (south of Superior) a few months ago and saw a grave for an Onley. That's about all I can remember about it though and didn't take a picture. It was in the Winkleman cemetery, which is quite small and easy to walk.
