BENDIXEN family in Bisbee, Arizona

I am looking for any and all information on my grandfather whose name was Jokum G. Bendixen. He was born in Denmark and migrated to the US when he was 17 years old. He may have lived in Minnesota for a short time before going to Bisbee. He became a naturalized citizen around 1904 after arriving in Bisbee. He worked in the mines in Bisbee and I have quite a few old photographs supporing this information. He married a woman, whose maiden name was Catherine Munch, who was born near Los Angeles California. I have quite a few details, but will not include all here at this time. My father, John Bendixen, was born in Bisbee as well as several other children. Their names were Mary Bendixen (Molly) who taught in Bisbee for many years, Hanora (Nora) Bendixen, T. W. (Bill) Bendixen, Francis Eugene (Gene) Bendixen, Adolf (Dutch) Bendixen and my father (John Bendixen). They lived in Tombstone Canyon on Sims Road for years.

I am going to Bisbee during the week of October 29, 2001 to visit the court house to see what I can find. If anyone has suggestions to make my trip successful, any assistance would be appreciated. My phone number in Tucson is (520) 797-0437 and my email address is listed above. Thanks again for any assistance.

Nancy (nee Bendixen) Holmes
