Hi,
I'm looking for any further information on Thomas Ayres, who died circa 1910s. He married Elizabeth Poole, who later married Absolom Hampton. Thomas was married before he married Elizabeth and had at least one child from the previous marriage: Alice. From the second marriage, there were two more daughters: Elizabeth and Dorothy.
Thomas is said to have been on the barges on the canal, however, his daughter's wedding lines list him as a worker for the GWR.
Any help on this big brickwall is gratefully received.
