Hi Susie,

Have you tried writing your story and sending it to Newspaper's throughout targeted areas of NC and VA? I did that for Susan and got lots of replies, information and new pen pals. That's how Susan's sister found us, through a newspaper story that someone spotted in Carroll County and forwarded. You may want to give it a try. Also check out Genealogy.com. I am continuing to keep my eye out for you. I have a feeling 2000 will be your year!
