Hi Serge,
No my brother-in-law is Michel "Mike" Nadeau although I do know my ex has a few cousins spread out across the west so there could be a Serge Nadeau among them, I never met those cousins. My ex also has a brother Daniel Nadeau who served in the forces but he was army, Michel and Roger as well as their father were air force. Roger's family is from a small town about 45 minutes outside of Riviere-du-Loup about 30 minutes from the N.B. border. I was born in Quebec City. Back to the Hayot mystery: I came home about an hour after sending my last post and have been searching ever since it is now after 2am LOL and I am soooo going to hate myself tomorrow morning. I found a Cyr-Hayot connection in Acadie during the time of the deportation so tomorrow I am going into the census records for Acadie to see what if anything I may find. To the Marin and Jeanne Boucher family; Stephen White has their parents as Jacques Boucher and Francoise Paigne with a third child being Gaspard Boucher. I have a photograph of the original home Marin Boucher lived in when he left France for the new world, I also have a photograph of the church where he was married and the children were baptised. If I can find the disc I put them on I will e-mail them to you if you would like them? You have obviously put alot of effort into researching the Boucher line, I found it interesting what you wrote about Marin and Jeanne's parentage, I am going to have to do some pondering on that one. I did notice that on the Fichier Origine it has Gaspard's parents as Jacques and Francoise however on Marin and Jeanne's records it lists the parents as "..... et ...." not very helpful LOL. The next time I am at the university I will have to ask Stephen White how/why he came to the conclusion that all three are siblings and their parents are indeed Jacques and Francoise. Anyway for now I am off to bed!
