My Ayotte line goes back of course to Thomas Hayot. Born in France in 1609. Was married to Jeanne Boucher. Most Ayottes seem to come from these two people. They lived in and married in Canada. Were Married in 1629.
The did have a son Jean Hayot Who married a Louise Pelletier. My mother has told me that somewhere in my line we have Indian. I have yet to find. My research has been at the American Canadian Society in Manchester, NH.
