The family name should be Simon-dit-Ayotte or Simon-Ayotte or Simon or Ayotte only. In the the Ste-Genevieve birth records, Joseph Simon-dit-Ayotte and second wife Emilie Baril had Joseph 22 March 1850, Marie-Rosalie 10 October 1851, Emilie 5 April 1853, & a second Marie-Rosalie 29 May 1854, the first probably died. There is no listing for Siméon-Nativité.
