It is always great to meet another cousin!
In your Indiana research did you happen to find John and Elizabeth in 1840? The story handed down is that their son William was born in Greenfield, Hancock Co., Indiana in 1836. I got the census cd for 1840, but so far haven't picked up an Aynes on that census, even looking for varied spellings. Did any of your descendants go on to MO or NE after 1840. Many went to Texas as well.
