Here is the newest scoop on my elusive AYNES family......
John AYNES-b. 31 Jul 1835 in IN-d. 12 Jul 1900 in Brown co., TX-married Sarah Jane HONEYCUTT-b. 29 Oct 1830-d. 4 Mar 1894 in Brown co., TX. Both John and Sarah are buried in Fairview Cemetery in Brown co., TX. They moved their family to Brown co., TX from Brown co., IN in 1883.
Their children (not in order of birth):
* Armilda AYNES-b. 24 Apr 1871 in IN (my ancestor);
* Mary AYNES
* Sarah AYNES
* Nancy AYNES married Sam MARTIN, son of James J. MARTIN of Grosvenor, Brown, TX.
* Phoebe Ida AYNES-b. 8 Apr 1875 in IN-d. 27 May 1949 in Brown co., TX-m. David V. BYRD on 12 July 1896 in a double wedding with her sister Nancy in their father's living room.
* Lucille AYNES
* Gabriel AYNES
Can anyone help now that I have been able to supply more names and dates?
