It is a great surprise for me to find a AYNES GENEALOGY Web site.
From many years and for my own leisure, I am looking for the genealogy of the surname « AYNE ».
« AYNE » is my mother’s surname, she is living in LYON (department : RHONE)- FRANCE
Throughout the history, this surname has got different writing :
AINE - AINES - AYNE - AYNES - AYNEZ
This surname is Spanish origin from the Castile province.
Towards 1350, this surname appeared in FRANCE especially in the area of LYON. We have found a document from 1391 in TREVOUX. TREVOUX is a town located at 25 km from LYON.
