James, I would enjoy sharing any information that I have at the present point with you. My sister and I have been trying to work on our family tree for years but it gets a little aggravating after a while. It seems that there are so many Aylwards from Ireland. I know that my father has some info dating sporatiacally back to about 1325 or so.. with many differnt veriations of the name, I was given a short time ago the Aylward History. It is rather long and a bit dry, but it covers the English and Irish Aylwards, with a good history and quite a ways back as well.. If you would like and don't already have the info I would be more than happy to share it with you..
