Is it possible that Mary Ann and Kitty were the same person?
Have you tried looking for Peter White Aylward in India? White and Maynard are names common to India in this time frame.
I believe that India or surrounding areas in Asia, not Ireland, may be the connection with many a missing Aylward in the 1800s.
